On Sunday 22 October at 7.00pm in Leicester Cathedral, the Sitar Music Society in partnership with the Cathedral present a special evening celebrating divine light through music. Renowned musicians Kirpal Singh Panesar on the wondrous bowed Tar Shehnai and Bhupinder Singh Chaggar on the versatile and dynamic Tabla drums will explore the moods and melodies of Indian classical music and pay homage to its spiritual depth and universal message in the stunning setting of Leicester Cathedral.

Cathedral Organist Simon Headley said, “Having hosted a wonderful Sitar and Tabla concert in the cathedral on the May Day Bank Holiday we are delighted to continue our partnership with the Sitar Music Society and looking forward to the Cathedral resounding to the strains of this evocative and moving music.”
