This year Heritage Open Days spans the period 13 to 22 September. To tie in with its theme of Power to the People, the Cathedral is hosting a mini exhibition across the span of the festival exploring the rise of workers’ education in 19th century Leicester and the part David Vaughan played in this.
In addition the following free tours will be available on Saturday 14 September:
Cathedral tower tours at 11am and 1pm lasting 45 minutes
Cathedral windows tours at 11.30am and 2.30pm lasting 45 minutes (with a free guide book included)
