Holy Week and Easter at Leicester Cathedral

We are delighted to be welcoming camera crews from the BBC over the Easter weekend, who will be broadcasting the Easter Day Eucharist live on BBC One television, and recording two editions of Songs of Praise on Easter Monday.

To facilitate the necessary preparations, rehearsals and final dismount for these recordings, the Cathedral will be closed to visitors during Holy Week from Tuesday 15 – Tuesday 22 April, except for when services are held (detailed below).  The Cathedral will then reopen to the public on Wednesday 23 April.

A list of special services for Holy Week at Leicester Cathedral can be found below.  For details of all services taking place at Leicester Cathedral during Holy Week, please click here.
