The Mission Statement
Anglican Cursillo is…
A movement of the Church providing a method by which Christians are empowered to grow through prayer, study and action and enabled to share God’s love with everyone.
- Cursillo is a method of informing, supporting and encouraging our lives as Christians.
- Cursillo (pronounced “kur-see-yo”) is a Spanish word meaning “short course.”
- Cursillo in any diocese can only operate with the blessing of the diocesan Bishop.
More information can be found at the Leicester Anglican Cursillo website.
The Leicester Cathedral Cursillo Seed Group meet in St Katharine’s Chapel on the second Sunday of every month after the 10.30am Eucharist. Members use the Cursillo Service and Pray and afterwards, those who are free, share lunch.
