The Cathedral Flower Arrangers are a team of people who work together to make the Cathedral a beautiful place and to enhance worship. The team consists of members of the congregation, as well as members of Friends of the Cathedral, the Guild of St Martin, and other flower arrangers who willingly provide their time and expertise to help enhance the Cathedral.

Some of the team are members of the National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies (NAFAS) but others are people with some skill and a love of flower arranging. We encourage anyone who is interested in joining us to make contact, even those who are less confident who would benefit by working with more experienced arrangers and demonstrations, which are available a few times a year.

As well as providing arrangements week by week, arrangements for special occasions are also provided. These include the Church Festivals of Christmas, Easter and Harvest, as well as weddings and other major events. Recent highlights include providing arrangements for Royal Visits, helping with the Richard III re-internment celebrations, and the Installation of the Bishop of Leicester, The Rt Revd Martyn Snow.

Some of the arrangements are paid for by donations, which may be given to mark special personal occasions, sometimes in memory of loved ones, or to celebrate a happy family event.

If you are interested in joining our team and have some experience, or you wish to make a donation to the Flower Fund, please contact the Cathedral administration Office in the first instance, FAO the Chairman Leicester Cathedral Flower Arrangers
