CHALK is an informal and relaxed time of about 30 minutes during the Sunday 10.30 Eucharist service where children, and adults, can spend a while discovering about what it is to be a Christian.  Those who lead the sessions each week will guide the children through a different aspect of the Christian faith, by choosing a different topic or theme following the Church year and lectionary.  Using Bible stories, prayer, drama and craft the children have a time of listening, sharing and creative activity.

CHALK is held in a room within the Cathedral called the Old Song School, and is easily accessible and open from 10.30am until around 11.00am; as we encourage children to actively take part in the worship at the Cathedral, the children return to their grown-ups in time to share the Peace and the Eucharist together.

Please note that children under 4 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
