Leicester Family Contact Centre is an independent volunteer-run charity, seeking to provide a safe, neutral venue where children from separated families can meet with the parent with whom they no longer live. The Centre helps children after the break-up of a marriage or long-term relationship.
Our main concern is the children, all of whom are going through a difficult adjustment. We want to provide a pleasant informal atmosphere so that they can make the most of their time at the Centre. The Centre is staffed each Saturday afternoon from 1.00pm – 4.00pm by a team of volunteers. Each team has an experienced team leader who is in charge for the afternoon. Please note that we only accept families once a referral form has been agreed by both parents and accepted by the organiser.
If you or someone you know need the Centre, or you would like to find out more about volunteering, please visit the Leicester Family Contact Centre website.
