Leicester Cathedral is online

Due to Covid-19, Leicester Cathedral is now closing our doors to the public but ensuring our online services, events, and prayers are offered during these further weeks of lockdown.

Under the legislation places of worship have been able to remain open. We have offered this modestly but with great care of social distancing and other precautions. We know this has been helpful and significant for some people. However, numbers of those infected here in Leicester and Leicestershire continue to rise with enormous pressures on our NHS and so we have taken this decision.

Online Services

Please join us if you can online for Morning Prayer (08.30am Mon-Friday, streamed on Facebook), Wednesday 13.00 Holy Communion (streamed from the Cathedral on Facebook) or from Sunday 10.30am our weekly Sunday Service will be available on YouTube.
