Leicester Cathedral is vibrant and its vision is to be welcoming, prayerful and all inclusive. Following the reinterment of King Richard III, and the growing number of people visiting and worshipping in the Cathedral, this is an exciting time for our community. To achieve its vision, the Cathedral relies on an ever growing network of volunteers across the broad range of its work.
The following volunteer roles are currently available:
- Cathedral welcomer
- Cathedral guide
- Education team
- Verger team
- Chaplaincy team
For further information about these roles you should refer to the attached Volunteering Booklet. Our Volunteer Agreement is also attached outlining the Cathedral’s commitment to its volunteers and the volunteers’ commitment to the Cathedral.
Applications should be made in writing or sent electronically to the Volunteer Manager, Rebecca Hale, at email@example.com. Applicants will be asked to attend a formal interview at St Martins House before suitability can be determined.
For further information, including a copy of our Volunteering Policy, or to submit an application, please contact the Volunteer Manager Rebecca Hale at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling her on 0116 261 5362.
