Children are very welcome at Leicester Cathedral.  Whether it is a visit to explore the Cathedral or to take part in a service, there are activities available for children of all ages to participate in.  On arrival please ask the Cathedral Welcome team for a copy of the children’s activity sheet.  This will take you on a trail of discovery around the Cathedral. Children are given the opportunity to design a stained glass window or to count the tigers in St. George’s Chapel.

Children take an active part in the life of the Cathedral, and are very much part of the Cathedral community.  Families are very much welcomed to worship together in the Cathedral, but there are also books, colouring books, quiz sheets and soft toys available to use during the service if required.  Please just ask our Welcome team.

Those children that visit regularly on a Sunday morning for the 10.30am Eucharist have the option to stay in the service or they can choose to attend CHALK.
