Children are very welcome at Leicester Cathedral. Whether it is a visit to explore the Cathedral or to take part in a service, there are activities available for children.
There are two guides available at the welcome desk for children, as well as some binoculars that can be borrowed at no charge.
Children take an active part in the life of the Cathedral, and are very much part of the Cathedral community. Families are very much welcomed to worship together in the Cathedral, and there is a children’s group called CHALK (Children at Leicester ‘K’athedral) for those aged 3-12 on Sundays at 10.30am. For younger children, there are soft toys available to use during the service if required.
