Music Foundation

Music Foundation + Guild of St Katharine

Cathedrals have a particular calling to keep our musical tradition alive and people rightly expect high standards. Parts of our music in worship, such as Choral Evensong, are uniquely Anglican. The service of Evensong is currently seeing a revival as its beauty transcends barriers of denomination and even faith. Like all art and beauty, music allows us to catch a glimpse of the Divine and become aware of the presence of the Holy.

Music is transformative to listeners and performers alike and those who take part in it find themselves changed and enabled in very different areas of their lives. By giving to Leicester Cathedral Music Foundation, you can support this vital part of our Cathedral life.
