Looking for free and low-cost things to do during the October half-term break? Leicester Cathedral is offering a variety of activities for all the family.

This half-term, we are hosting free family events including

• a Clay Crafting workshop on Tuesday 21 and Thursday 23 October
  Make an autumnal clay hanging decoration from 10.00am–12.00pm & 2.00–4.00pm
  Drop in - no need to book. Ages 3+

• a Paper Architecture Workshop on Wednesday 22 October
  A creative paper architecture workshop guided by vHH Architects, from 10.00am–12.00pm & 2.00–4.00pm
  Drop in - no need to book. Workshop for ages 12-16, with younger siblings welcome.

• for a more meditative experience, our Silent Prayer group is starting on Monday 20 October
  An opportunity to pray in silence with others, and, if desired, to reflect on and learn from our experience. Meeting in the Heritage & Learning Centre (using the new entrance between the HLC and the Cathedral on the south side) from 7.00pm to, at the latest 8.15pm (please note there will be no entry after 7.10pm). Open to anyone who desires to pray in silence.
