As we enter 2026 I am delighted that we continue to offer a variety of music, events, and worship in the Cathedral and the new Heritage & Learning Centre.
The National Lottery Heritage Fund Learning Space is a wonderful venue for workshops, family activities, and our Friday morning drop-in Welcome Café, and I know you will enjoy being in this new space.
We welcome the Comedy Festival back again this year and there are '…By Candlelight' options for different tastes – Coldplay, Celine Dion and Vivaldi/Rachmaninov. We are looking forward to another medieval banquet and a series of talks as we remember King Richard III's reinterment in March.
In February we will hold a service to mark the 450th anniversary of the first recorded use of sign language in an English church – right here in this building – and through the Christian season of Lent there are opportunities for reflection as you journey towards Easter and the story at the heart of our faith.
I look forward to welcoming you in the months ahead.
