What's On Autumn 2025

Summer 2025 header

Leicester Cathedral is a Cathedral for Everyone, and this autumn programme, I hope, holds something for us all.

An expansiveness of heart awaits us all as Luxmuralis present an immersive sound and light show of The Elements. For those seeking solace having lost a loved one, our services for Remembrance early in November offer space to breathe. We celebrate 80 years of the work of Christian Aid enabling global communities in development, and we celebrate the ministry of Chaplains in our prisons, universities, colleges, and hospitals. You can sing for your brain, sing along to Whitney Houston by Candlelight, and sing hymns every Sunday morning.

Our doors are open and we hope that we can be part of your exploration of heritage and story, faith and questioning, diversity and belonging, solace and wonder.

The Very Revd Karen Rooms, Dean of Leicester

Journeys Festival International 2025

We're looking forward to the return of Journeys Festival International 2025, as we host two immersive installations as part of Art Reach's annual festival celebrating the journeys that shape us.

In Cathedral Gardens, Sirens: Songs of Sisterhood by Liminal Creative invites visitors to explore a sculptural constellation shaped by the voices and experiences of women, while inside the Cathedral, And... Breathe by Pif-Paf transforms breath and touch into light and sound, offering a moment of calm and reflection.

JFI runs from 10–12 October.
