Cyclists visit Cathedral in aid of mental health charity

On Saturday 7 March Leicester Cathedral was visited by a team of 11 cyclists as part of a sponsored challenge to cycle to every Cathedral in England in aid of the charity Rethink Mental Illness.  David Graham and his fellow cyclists arrived in Leicester mid-afternoon, just in time for a slice of cake from the Cathedral Tea Room running that day – well-deserved, having already visited Southwell Minster and Derby Cathedral earlier that day – and were met and welcomed by the Dean.

David’s blog can be followed at, where you can read the story behind the cycle challenge, in which to date he has raised over £2100 in aid of Rethink Mental Illness.
